Dog Friendly Sites
We welcome dogs here at Lakes Edge Holiday Park and we have a number of different sites to meet everyone's needs.
We have 11 non-powered & 13 powered sites that are especially for all our dog-lovers. Only camper vans or caravans in this area as it is mainly shingle.
This area has been developed with our furry friends in mind and is a separate area from the main camp. It has four unisex toilets, two unisex showers and a small kitchen and laundry.
Sorry, but no dogs from 15 December - 15 January.
Facilities
There are some simple rules when camping with your dog:
- We only welcome non-aggressive dogs
- Dogs are not allowed into the campsite facilities
- All dogs must be on-lead or fenced in
- You must clean up and pick up your pooches poop
All the basic rules that we as responsible dog owners do in our everyday life.
On arrival we'll ask you to agree to our T&Cs to ensure that not just your furry friend is enjoying themselves, but also you as an owner. We want camping with your dog to be fun, relaxing and a treat for you and everyone else in this area.

Pets
Pets welcome on our dog friendly sites. We have limited spaces so please book in advance. No dogs in accommodation (they can't stay in the car either). No Dogs from 15 December - 15 January.

“Amazing scenery, friendly helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, provided with everything to be comfortable during our stay - clean amenities, barbecues, so close to Tekapo Springs and some lovely walks around the area. We had an absolutely incredible stay for such a reasonable cost. We shifted our holiday and stayed an extra night. if we weren’t on a tight time limit we would’ve stayed even longer. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay in this park in Lake Tekapo again, when next visiting from Australia.”
