Lakes Edge Holiday Park offers all the facilities you need for a great holiday, whether you're in a tent, a small campervan, large motorhome, or in one of our cabins.

We have two kitchen areas which are always popular gathering points in the evenings when guests come to cook and exchange stories of their travel adventures in New Zealand.

The village is nearby; a one minute drive or a short 10 minute walk to the supermarket, petrol station, gift shops, great cafes and restaurants. Tekapo township also has all the tourist operators you would expect to find in a New Zealand holiday destination.

Check-in is at our reception, which you'ill see on the left as you come down the hill on Lakeside Drive from State Highway 8. If you are arriving outside reception hours, we will leave all check in information out for you for a hassle-free check-in.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect camping spot near Lake Tekapo, or a cosy motel room for the family to unrest and unwind, you’ll find it at Lakes Edge Holiday Park!

Facilities

Kitchens

Our kitchen facilities offer ovens, microwaves, fridge/freezer, table and chairs, instant hot water and toasters.

Please note, the kitchens are not supplied with pots, plates, cutlery etc but if you do forget to bring something just ask reception and we’ll be able to help you out.

Laundry

Located in our main facilities block, our laundry has five large-capacity washing machines and five dryers, which you can pay by eftpos or credit card.

BBQ Facilities & Picnic area

We have plenty of BBQs in front of our main kitchen block and some outside the Standard Cabins. These are free to use – just turn the gas on and fire away!

"The BBQ area must surely have one of the best views in the world. I've certainly never seen better!" says one happy camper.

Showers & Toilets

Lakes Edge Holiday Park has great showers with plenty of hot water. Our showers are on a 6 minute timer to save water and to reduce your wait time.

24 Hour security

For your peace of mind, we provide 24-hour camp security with locked gates. These can be accessed 24/7 and you will be provided with a pin code on arrival.

Dining & TV Lounge

Our warm, comfortable lounge has sofas, and table & chairs for dining. Our widescreen television has Sky TV with movies and sport channels.

Water & dump station

Fresh drinking water is available from taps throughout the holiday park. A dump station is conveniently located for the disposal of your campervan grey water.

Playground

Smaller children will love our little playground, while a second playground on the lakefront is great for older children with its big climbing elephant and tractor.
